There's not too many times I've had the honor of escorting 3 generations of anglers at once. Today was one of those rare days... and I was doubly-honored that it was the BPrice Clan. Brandon is a Moderator on the Chattanooga Fishing Forum. He joined me along with his Dad, Danny and Gramps (more commonly known as Charlie). I must say that BPrice's "crappie touch" put us to shame. But we were all able to hold our own well enough to put a hefty stringer of crappie in the boat. I believe 38 was the final total of keepers, with a tasty Yellow Perch thrown in for good measure. Gramps was the Bluegill King. Besides the keeper crappie an assorted mixture of other species fell victim to Panfish Assassins or tube jigs, plus a bragging-size spot BPrice tagged. Most were caught still deep on the river channel but we did troll some shallow water for an hour or two and added eight keepers to the larder. They were mostly on scattered stumps 8-10 feet deep. But one thing for sure, the Price Clan is a fishing family! As always, life is good and gettin' better every day!
