is there anybody here that fishes for flatheads in cheney lake? i was wondering if there are any good sized ones in there and where on the lake are the best spots to catch em at

Yes there are flats in Cheney, there tuff to catch, Marion has them also. Ive caught flats at Marion but i wasn't fishing for them at the time. Flats out of the lakes are hard to catch you will do mutch better out of a river where you can find their hideouts, I've caught several flats out of El dorado also, caught more there than any lake around here. All have come out of the north end where the walnut comes in or out of old creek channels up in the coves
Some real nice ones come out of the spillways at Marion or El Dorado, Cheney doesn't have mutch of a spillway
