    My son caught this one sunday night out of the scioto, it was missing half of its lower jaw! It wieghed in at 13 pounds.

    Maybe it got caught on a trot line and fought its way off. I have no clue what happened just throwing something to think about. Nice catch either way, and its still was healthy enough to go eat. Thanks for sharing. SGT Shorey out

    Yeah alot of times when you see fish missing parts of their jaws its from them getting hooked on a trotline or a limb line that someone doesn't run often enough and they fight and roll until they tear themselves up trying to get away.

    I've caught two fish just like that in my years of fishing. I think the above two posts are correct...... limb or t line, possible stringer ripped and infection ate away at the rest.
