i was bowhunting in early december of this past season when had the experience of a lifetime. on an afternoon hunt i had just gotten into my treestand when i heard something walkin in behind me. i had barely got my harness latched and my release on when i heard footsteps. i was hoping it was a buck i had been hunting so i hit my grunter. justa few seconds later the most beautiful BOBCAT i had ever seen was standing 20 yards away. i eased my bow to full draw and released on this cat. the cat did 2 flips and went about 40 yards and piled up. pretty cool huh!

Jessica(the one who wants to join the BOC as soon as she turns 13 this July Lord Willing) has always wanted a mounted Bobcat. She thinks they are gorgeous.I have a friend here in town, whose husband killed one and had it mounted.I asked her how much they paid to get it it mounted and she told me $350.00. Mercy that's a hair steep for us.But I sure wish I could get one for her,she has wanted one for years!

Nice cat! Great shooting! I want another one of them. I had a nice 35# cat in the freezer ready to mount but my ex threw it out after a fight. Boy was I hot!

i am definitely gonna have it mounted. i took it to my taxidermist the day after i shot it. it will be mounted with its back end laying on a log with front legs straddling it.
