Check out this strange Flathead catfish

    this fish was caught march 3 2005. iread a post about albino flatheads and it made me remember this fish. may be a close as it gets

    Wow! would I love to catch one of those. I wonder if there are any native American tribal stories about white Flatheads, like there are for white buffalo and other animals?

    That is awesome. The fact that it is that white, yet was still able to grow that large....that thing can hunt, thats for sure.

    I have seen some Albino channels, but wow looks like a big one too.

    flatheads change colors all the time. they basically look like their enviroment. every flathead ive caught had different color to them and that color usually matched where they lived. thats why some are dark green others yellow and some brown and so on.. good looking fish you caught.

    now that i looked at the profiles in this thread alone i see very different colors in everyones flatheads..
