ON THE 13TH OF MARCH ME AND MY FISHING BUDDY CAUGHT 46 CHANNEL CATS. WE THREW BACK 11 AND KEPT 35.THE ONES THAT WE KEPT AVERAGED BETWEEN 5 AND 12 POUNDS. WE CAUGHT THEM ON CUT SHAD. THEY ARE'NT BITING ON NIGHT CRAWLERS YET. WE CAUGHT THEM IN SHALLOW WATER WHERE THE WATER WARMS UP QUICKLY ON SUNNY DAYS.WE FISHED IN WATER THAT BACKS UP FROM THE OHIO RIVER IN CRAIGS CREEK, JUST ABOVE MARKLAND DAM. IS ANY ONE ELSE HAVING ANY LUCK YET?

I've only been out on the water one time this year :sad2: & I didn't have any luck at all, but that was earlier this year.

So I know that will change. :0a23:

The water has been too high for me here. Flood stage on the Mississippi at Wickliffe is 40', todays level is 48' with a forcasted crest of just over 55'.
