Channel catfish in Virginia

    The previous post clearly proves that not only are the deer bigger up north but some of the fish are to!!!!!!!! Anyway...... a couple pics from sat nights excursion in va. The larger channel is 15 wich is my personal best.

    Where were you fishing? Iv'e been catching some nice channels{biggest 14#} at Claytor Lake the last few weeks. I caught most on shad and bluegill heads. Awesome catch!

    I was in my canoe on the James River above Richmond trying to catch Flatheads using live blue gills and creek chubs.
