do any of you guys ever fish the north anna on lake anna?? i was wondering especially about drifting that whole area down to hunter's landing...is there a lot of snags or is the bottom fairly clean of debris??

I never seem to get the hang of that drift fishing thing. I see people doing it in other areas like SC and Tx and I can do it in the salt water no problem. Fresh water lakes in central Va are one big snag, I'm hung up before I'v drifted 10 feet:confused2:

gotta keep your hook up off the bottom and drift a good 1 oz. long slender weight that can "snake" over most of the snags...still can't drift in standing timber but you would be surprised how much crap you can drift over with little trouble...i'm gonna try it when i get up there this fall...i was just hoping that somebody could tell me what areas to stay away from on anna.
