i was wondering if a channel would eat a (whole) shad.. but cut up

if i felleted one side then cut the head off and then the tail but threaded it all on the hook

kinda like a little bit of everything with a blood trail and fish oils

i really want to catch a fish atleast 10 lbs some day... that will be a good fight on a medium rod and 14 lb test ( especially cause i cast out about 200 ft from where i fish form)

hell yes they do . only problem is keeping the little guys away long enough for a big 1 to find it. but yes cut shad is excellent bait heck even small live ones work well if they can get it in there mouth u will gettem.
