I have a chance to get a stainless steel prop for my Merc thats in good condition for around 20 bucks. The only problem is it has a 11 spline hub and I need a 13. Can this be changed with a hub kit? or would it be more trouble than its worth?

If I Told You That I Knew For Sure, I'd Be Lying but I'll Bet It's Worth It. The're Not Giving Away Stainless Props By Any Means.

I Would call My Local "Prop Shop", They Usually Have A Flat Rate For Doing These Type Of Repairs. You Can't Get A Better "Heads Up" Than From The Source Itself.

Took your advise and checked with my local marina and found out that the hub could not be swaped out for a 13 spline. So, anyone want to trade me a 10x15 or 17 Merc prop with 13 splines for (2) two props in good condition. 1 is 10x10 with 13 splines and the other is 10x12 with 13 splines. These props are in good shape and I think would be ideal for a pontoons. There just not getting my fiberglass boat on top of the water.
