I am by no means an expert on winter blue cat fishing. However, I seem to catch my blue cats in winter in deep water. I usually fish scour holes around the wing dams. The deeper, the better. I also use a smaller shad head or heads as bait. This seems to work for me either bank fishing or from a boat. Now this is my river tactic. My resevoir doesn't hold blues so my tactics on a lake are not going to be mentioned here. LOL Good luck out there Slikk! Hope you catch some biggins!
