    OK, let me start off by saying that this wasn't a trip for targeting catfish. Well, I wouldn't call it a trip that I would consider a real fishing trip either. I was scouting for the fall, when the big brown trout spawn. We did a lot of hiking and used a lot of gas on some pretty nasty 4x4 trails. I did manage to catch some trout, brook, rainbows, and I lost a real nice brown trout. I usually fish spinners, jerkbaits and the occasional nightcrawler, all on an ultralight set up. Here are some pics, hope you all enjoy. The first pic is Upper Canjilon Lake, the second is the Brazos River, and the third is an example of the trout I was catching.
