OK, let me start off by saying that this wasn't a trip for targeting catfish. Well, I wouldn't call it a trip that I would consider a real fishing trip either. I was scouting for the fall, when the big brown trout spawn. We did a lot of hiking and used a lot of gas on some pretty nasty 4x4 trails. I did manage to catch some trout, brook, rainbows, and I lost a real nice brown trout. I usually fish spinners, jerkbaits and the occasional nightcrawler, all on an ultralight set up.
