I just read a post and it mentioned Ceramic Guides coming loose. I use to have this problem, but found a way to help eliminate the problem, or at least it becoming less frequent anway.

I take super glue, any brand and where the metal meets the ceramic guide I put a little all the way around on both sides.

I am not saying this will completely cure the problem, but it does seem to help.

Also, keep the glue from the inside of the guide where the line comes in contact with the line.

You can repair them with super glue as well....

I love the ceramic guides. I've only had one ever come loose; I've had 2 or 3 of the metal eyes come loose.
