Welcome. Im originally from Moffat, right on Belton Lake, but now reside in Bryan.

A good place is Temple Lake Park, right off of the fishing dock they have.

You can also look at a map of Belton lake, and where the highway 36 bridge goes over the lake going towards Gatesville, keep going past that, and then take a left. Follow that road down aways, and you will come into a small park. Good fishing in there also.

    Good luck, and welcome again..

This time of year, hit up the areas around Owl Creek. Lots of channels there. Good luck
