I was back up that way a week ago, and did my usual trip over to Nashua to fish some channels under the dam. Unfotuneatley, the only cats we found were about 50 dead ones floating around the rocks? Anyone know what happened over there. We couldn't get a bite, which makes sense with all the carion floating around. Was the kill through the river or just above the dam?

Any info will help. I'm back in N.C. now, but my buddies are still up there in the dark about where to look on the river for cats now, and I'd like to help them out some. Thanks!

Yeah, but the channels I've always seen seem to not mind the heat too bad. I mean, it's unheavenly hot in NC here most of the time, but channels thrive, and the rivers tend to be a lot slower than the Cedar is. Maybe it's all relative though, as the water temps down here are always warmer?
