We polled the members and came up with three lakes for the Carolina Catfish Club fall tournaments. Here are the events:

October 24th…Mt. Island Lake / Mt. Island Access Area
November 21st…Lake Wylie / Buster Boyd Access Area
December 12th…Lake Wateree / Dutchman Creek Marina

This is the first time we have traveled to Lake Wateree to fish. There was overwhelming support for adding this lake, so hopefully it will be a good turn out and we will catch some nice fish. December is a great time of the year to catch nice fish on Lake Wateree.

There are a few changes in the rules this year. We have dropped the “two persons per boat” rule in hopes of encouraging more boaters to take along non-boaters. Also, no jug fishing is allowed.

You can read all the rules and the dates at: http://www.carolinacatfishclub.com/CCCTournaments.htm
