cavitation plate height

    my motor is set with cavitation plate about 1 inch above bottom of boat just wondering if i lower to where its even would the proformance be better or is it good where it at ive seen where they say it should be even and i have a hydro foil on it also thanks

    Leave it where it is at. It is in good shape.

    Rule of thumb is to be even or 1 inch above the keel. For every 6 inches the motor is set back away from the transom allows you to raise the motor an extra inch.
