Well, I've been waiting for a couple of months to get this onto the computer and it's finally here. Caught this guy the first weekend in October at my favorite lake in the whole world. I only get to fish it once or twice a year, but the fishing is just incredible. Feel free to give me some guesses on the weight b/c I have no idea.

It's a beauty! Congrats on the catch.

    I'll guess at 45 lbs.

Nah, I didn't get any measurements. Just stood there in the water until my friends mom could run down from the house and snap a few pictures and let him go. It does kinda make all my other catfish pictures look sad:embarassed:

I work at a fish house and lift 50lb fish boxes all day and she was a handful. I was struggling but my guess is somewhere in the 50lb range. It was just so thick all the way to the tail. The picture in the Local NC Talk gives a better perspective on how thick it was.

Nice fish!! I'd guess him between 50 and 60. I don't know how tall you are, etc, so it's tough for perpective, but it's a biggun!
