Caught 4 Flathead down at KG&E dam just about an hour ago. I was only there half an hour. They are hitting hard. Might go out on the gravel bar tonight. See if I cant hook the BIGGEN. I talked to Chris down to the bait shop in Parsons and he said the biggest flat anyone has caught yet on the Neosho was a 63 pounder. Up to Chanute.

Cool! Seven minutes per fish... takes me that long to rebait! We don't have big numbers of flatheads down here (Chattanooga, TN). I think I've caught four all year. But here's a good one my daughter nailed a couple of weeks ago.

That is one incredible trip. Suprised your arms can still hold a pole. I may have to make a road trip. Tho with my luck the fishing will die when I get there. Been that way all year.
