2 boats all the way............got a lake boat and a river boat. You'll be blessed with the opportunity to use both!!

Lake boat is a 20' ASTRO/150hp, the river boat is a 16' express/25hp. Don't have any trouble finding a place to use either. Welcome.

welcome to ks Jamie.if you cant bring them both,i would bring the one best suited for lake fishing.alot of good catfishing lakes within an hour of topeka and they can get a lil rough with some high winds.i have a 19ft smokercraft deep-v w/ a 125 merc.dont have any pics at the moment but ill try to get some up.let us know if you have any more Q's and let us know when you get here so one of us can sure take you out and show you around some lakes.

Welcome to the neiborhood. I live near Paxico, only a little west of you. I use a 16ft Lowe with a mud motor to fish the Kansas river north of you. Either boat would work well on the lakes depending upon the weather. The bigger boat would handle the wind better on the lakes, which can get severe. Let me know if you want to hit the KS river sometime, we catch flathead and channel cat there, and you can see some new water.

Welcome to KS Jamie. I live just a short jont west of Heath over in Alma. A large number of BOC members live up in this area so it shouldn't be hard to meet up with any one of us sometime.

    Later,
    Chris
