Jamie welcome to the BOC and welcome to Kansas.

There are around 7-10 members here in Topeka and many around here close.

Many lakes and rivers to fish close by, look forward to meeting you when you get here, Oh, just go ahead and bring both boats we can but them to good use here..:wink:

Jamie welcome to the area. I know a lot of nice places to fish around the Dover area. My family actually founded the town and I still have a lot of relatives that live there or in the area, I actually grew up just north of Dover in a small town called Willard. I'm living in Topeka now, asfor my boat I have a 15ft Lone Star V, I have a 20hp Mec on it and it gets me to the places I want to so far.

I have a 10ft flatbottomed rowboat which should sink when I sit down in
it, the Coast Guard informs me. Not all men weigh 175lbs and I have
doubled that figure. You will find that your 22ft craft will be of good
service on our larger lakes and a 25 mile run is not out of the question.
Most of us use the johnboats in the rivers or creeks since they drag
up over some logjams and most sandbars rather easily and waves are
not much of a problem. Welcome to Kansas!
