ok.. just looking for suggestions... im gonna get out soon and fish some areas of teh mississippi in the pool 12 area. was just wondering what i should look for in the time of early september. any specific things i should use for bait. above, below wingdams? water temps will be in the low 70's by then i would think. thanks for any info.
also.. if anyone has any tips on where the crappies should be.. i would appreciate that as well..

I always have my best fishing in September. I anchor above any tree that's down in the water. Cast to it and hang on. I use chicken livers that have been buried in garlic salt for a couple years. They're tough but they loosen up a bit when they soak in the water.
