well fellas heres the 3/4 completed bathroom job ya all helped me on. check out these results.
here are some more. i still have to trim. doing that safternoon. painting now. the baby loves it. he couldnt go in there before. it was nasty. all new now.
here is a good pic of tile. not sure what the black in joints is in pic. but its not there at home lol.
now were gonna tile our laundry room,lol. we had enough cement board and 1/2 plywood leftover so were taking up linolium and putting down 1/2" over existing and cement board and i got tile grout and et mnortor last night. so ne rest for the wicked lol. starting it this weekend.
Thanks for the pics, Great job Buddy!!! You did real nice work, your a pro now. I'm right behind you, In the next few weeks I gotta tile our kitchen and laundry room and I'm tearing all the carpet out of living room and dining room and putting down hard wood floors.

just trimed out the floor and 1/4 round around ceiling and corner trim. all that is left is to reposition the tub and finish around that. then a quick floor job on the lanudry and ill be hitting the lake,lol. or back to work. :angry::smile2:
You done GOOD,Bro.!!! I'll try to post pics of my daughters ,I finished it last week.
i ended up with new 3/4" glued to joists and screwed with 3" screws every 12" or so. the 1/2" lapped over screwed every 6" square. cement board screwed every 4"square. and i took fiberglass mesh and the set mortor and troweled the mesh over c/board joints flat before i tiled to fill cracks.

Looks really good. I know your proud of that work.. You did seal the grout joints right?
well what do ya recommend??? i have some silicone grout sealer i got when i did my wood stove tile. ita in a little like shoe polish bottle with a pad. it says wait two weeks for grout to dry.???????:confused2: should i do it now with something better?????
ive done nothing to it yet. grouted like 4-5 days ago or something close.
I guess I would have to inspect it in person to know, but it looks real good from here! lol oooh::big_smile::wink:
Jerm, great looking work (I did stuff like that for a living after I retired). Maybe if you clean your camera lens you won't have that "black stuff" in your pics:smile2:
