Catfishing with marshmallows - curious?

    why do u use marshmellows to cat fish with.

    ive never used marshmallows to catfish with but i am willing to try. wondering if it will produce as well as cut bait or nightcrawlers

    Don't kow about producing as well but at least if you get hungry you can eat he bait.

    I don't know if the cats will bite marshmellows alone but this Summer I was lake fishing along side of a guy who was using marshmellows covered with dip bait. He caught many good eating size cats. Maybe the marshmellow melts and disperses a sweet trail through the water for the cat to follow. Add some dip bait and Voila!:wink:
