Catfishing on the Ohio River

    Alright brother this will be my second time on the ohio river. Down around portsmouth. I need to know where to go and what i should use I do have a gigantic supply of hybird blue gill about hand size or better, Large amounts of 10/0 cicle hooks and some others...Bank fishing only because im to poor to afford a boat lol.....But i thinking about hitting it hard sometime this weekend or maybe the week early. Any suggestions

    What about where the scioto dumps into the ohio?........ or behind the racetrack?....... just a coulple of ideas to get you in the ball park.

    coming into Portsmouth on rt23 stay streight on Chilicothe st to second street which you have to turn one way or the other, turn right and as you leave town you will cross the Scioto river and at the other end of the bridge you'll turn and go to the boat ramp, there is some pretty good fishing all along there.
