Thanks Dale - that's the kind of media exposure catfishing and catfish tournaments need. Always appreciated!

Nice article Dale. Brandon seems like a great fellow and i'm sure is a hoot to be around. The pics of the giant blue being released gives the sport alot of credit. I guess they could have skinned it and made boots with the tough hyde, but i wouldn't want to try and eat the thing.:eek:oooh:

    good post dale

dont beat yourself up on a couple of bummer trips it just takes some time to learn, and learn the water and its conditions.

my nephew last year caught 3 blues over 50 lbs last year in the kaw out of a big canoe drifting or bumping what ever you want to call it . and many flatheads from 3 to 40 lbs . him and his buddies walk in somewhere to fish the kaw they are young and full of piss and vinegar to drag the canoe and gear and set up on the bank in some good spots they have found lol . those kind of nights are in the past now for me :smile2:

what im trying to say is you dont have to have 30,000 boat to catch fish sure its nice and makes things easier but just use what you have and keep learning and trying and it will happen for you !!!!!
and soon you will be bringing in the biggens yourself.

Enjoy reading the stories, Dale. But you should have thrown in a plug about how perfect that Brandon guy is.
