Catfishing on Lake Hartwell

    Where is a good place to cat fish on Lake Hartwell .Hoping to do some this year.

    Theres no water in hartwell:crazy:. Best to talk with the SC folks since there seems to be more of them on hartwell. I wouldn't know. The family lake house on Hartwell hasn't had water in probably 7 years. Looks like woods now:confused2:

    We have a few more boat ramps opening up on the Ga. side now.A lady at work said she has water under her boat now and it is finnaly floating again.

    At the beginning of little beaver creek(sc) side start at the channel marker and fish up the creek, They seem to bite well at 11:00 to 14:00, The channel depending on the location can range from 30 or so feet to over 80 feet!

    Blue back hearing and brim will get you some great action, also saw them using ballons as way to hold the bait at the desired deepness.
