Just wondering if any of you guys have had any experience or luck fishing up in the small creeks and rivers. For example I live near the Salt river, Dix river, Green River, Elkhorn Creek. If so what has been your typical catch?
    Thanks,

I don't know the size of any of those rivers, but, I have caught many catfish in the St. Francis River between Parkin and where it goes into the Mississippi River. Trot lines when I was younger, and on rod and reel more recently. Never caught any real large ones, the largest was probably about 15# on a trotline.
