Probably will never happen but here are a few places I would like to catfish before kicking the bucket.

    1. The Amazon river (all catfish species)
    2. Europe (Wels catfish)
    3. India (the famous devil fish "Guch" catfish)
    4. Red River north (channel catfish)
    5. James River (blue cats)
    6. Wheeler/ Wilson/ Pickwick lakes (blue cats)

    Whats yours?

I guess I'm simple minded but I don't care to travel that much. I would rather fish my local waters often as to travel long distance and not fish as often.

There are so many choices that off the top of my head I cant pick. I'm like some others, I'm happy fishing my home lake.

The thought of going somewhere to land that gait is appealing but it would mean a lot more to me finding one here, on my lake.

Although going to the Amazon, India, and Spain would be cool, I think my greatest catfish destinations is right here in North America on the Red River Manitoba.

Imagine slaying 20 to 30lb channel cats!

Not calling the flathead or blue a wuss or anything, but a 30lb channel will put up some kind of fight!:cool2:

Dont really have a bucket list, just wish I could move the James River to Central Texas where I intend on retiring for warm weather fishing all year. Oh wait I do wish The james and Mississippi met in this same spot I retire :smile2: I just feel that there are catfish still left the same size as the wells and the Pirada or however you spell it lurking in the james, mississippi, missouri, and tennessee river's, we just cant find them. I just want that 100LBer before I leave Va this fall. My Bucket list is almost fufilled I always wanted a 20+ channel I got a 25 last year, got a 60+ Blue and a 30+ Flat, so as soon as I catch that 50+ flat I will be complete, but I want the century mark in the next couple years

I am very happy bank fishing the Mississippi here in Alton, IL. I guess if I wanted to improve on this it would be bank fishing somewhere that holds 100# blues and does not have the river currents to deal with. The previous world record blue of #121 was caught in Lake Texoma from the bank, so I guess I would like to fish there also.

Now this is a hard question but I do have an answer, ANYWHERE there are cats to be caught.
