Few I came up with

Abercrabby and Fish
Where's the Plug?
Deck-adence
Big Tail
Ahab's Return
Stump Jumper
Jonah's Revenge
Be Quiet
Bass are 4 Bait
Shaving Whiskers

Situations have always entered into our families boat names.

My Grandmother to my grandfather "you need that like a whole in the head"

Boat name "Hole in the Head"

When I bought my last boat, my wife said "So much for me getting a horse".

Boat name "Her Horse"

Did you know that in Michigan "Wet Dream" is the most registered name for a boat?

My buddy is a bit overweight... he's got a flatbottom with a godevil he calls "Sandwitch"

My former boat was "El Conquistador", named after a Bob and Tom sketch, but now I have a new boat and I gotta think up a name.

"Cat-a-lac" would be nice, but its a bit kitschy
"Lowe Rider" could work as it is a Lowe
"Slime-Time"
"Snag-all-puss"
"money-for-fins-program"
"Idle hands"
"hook & line, but dont sink her!"
"Drag and drop"

Id go with somthing that defines the character of the boat. Not just a catfishing inuendo.

Me and my friends have always named our vehicles and the best names really add to the character of the vehicle. "Good Deal" was the name of one of my trucks, it was sarcastic but a perfect name, "Slow Poke" is my friends truck right now, both these names really have meaning and add tons of character.

I would take the boat out a few times before naming it and then a simple name might be obvious, and if you pick a good one your vessel will never be reffered to as your boat or the boat, it will have its own character.

This is a great thread. I am going to name my 16 foot 1970 simi-V "******* Cat-a-Lac".

I am fixin this boat up with a new paint job (see thread My Project) and going above and beyond with it since it is my first boat. The name has meaning for me. My family has always been into dirt track racing and my dads race team was named "******* Racin" and I love catfishing so what better fit. I have never been into cars or racing so I thought I the this was my way to add a little family tradition to the boat. My dads race number was always 105 so it will also be painted somewhere on the boat.

Anyways, pick a name that fits the boat and you it will mean more.

With the weather here Ohio changing all the time i say we call it "Dry-Rot" because it has been in the garage since we bought it. when we got it the temp was hanging around 50 degrees since then it has fluctuated from as high as 70 to as low as 20.hard to know when to get the boat out

I don't know how many of you have watched Gone Fishin' with Danny Glover and Joe Pesci but there boat is called "joegus" which is named after their character names Joe and Gus...that is what I'm naming my boat. If you haven't seen that movie...go and rent it today. You will NOT be dissapointed!!!
