    Catfishhunter makes the big time

    James Noles
    (Catfishhunter)
    Shelbyville, Ky.

James did a T.V. Show yesterday on Kentucky Outdoors it was broad cast on direct T.V. and he took the gentelmen from the show fishing on the Big Ohio river, James did a very good job they got two catfish and he even got the man from the TV show a bluecatfish about 15 pounds.

James credited alot of his learning on the BOC and they showed a small clip of the BOC on the internet.

James just would like to tell you the BOC Staff and its members thank you for that plug you made about us and you did a fine job on the T.V. (Can I have your autograph Sir ) It was aired on Sunday at 3:00PM by the time I seen it was on I could not get it recorded, but we are trying to get a copy of it to let everyone see on the BOC.

    James Job Well Done !!

Thanks everybody, They were able to take a mole hill and make a mountain out of it.It was right in the middles of the spawn I and told Tim Farmer (host) that the fishing would be slow, even getting fresh bait was hard.We ended up catching a total of 3 fish. The first was a little 3lb. flattie,2nd fish hit hard and was putting up a pretty good fight and I was thinking to myself that this is really gonna make me look good on TV. About that time a 10lb. Drum rolled up and needless to say a few words slipped out and I told Tim he can just edit this scene.Tim is the host of a show called Kentucky Afield here in KY. He was in a motorcycle accident and lost the use of his right arm. Tim can shoot a bow, hunt, and fish with only one arm, it is pretty remarkable. The 3rd fish slammed the rod down and Tim couldn't get it out of the holder with one arm, so I grabbed it and stuck the rod down into this piece of pvc tubing around his neck and that is how he held the rod. We was in 8oz. current and the fish was putting up a good fight.Tim asked how big I thought the fish was and said probably close to 30lb. The way it was fighting I thought it was and it ended up weighing 15lbs. I was a little disappointed but Tim was tickled to death so that's all that mattered. They did a great job with the show Tim is a outstanding person and I hope to take him out again.
Thanks again the Paul and the BOC for a outstanding job their doing. If it wasn't for the BOC I would have never had the opportunity to do the show. Thanks again
