I saw these electronic fish tags on a site called fishtagger.com They say I can monitor these fish day or night for free. You get ten tags for 20 bucks. Just wondering if any of you have heard of if this working and what eveyone thinks of fish tagging?

I would just use caution doing it and check up on the laws before you do. The idea is great and will check it out thanks.

Sounds like a neat idea but I wouldn't try it in Ohio in public waters. This is taken straight from the regulations.

"It is unlawful for the public to tag and release fish into any public water area."

From what I see these are NOT electronic. You log info on a web site and people who catch a tag fish can update the profile of the tag number. So basically it is like a fishing log book.
