i bake catfish with butter and lemon juice and pepper anyone else tried this?
Yes, and it is delicious. I've also added an onion, mustard, and lemon pepper.

Almost. We use salt & lemon pepper, then broil.
Here's another good one. Salt your fillets. Lay on broiling pan and put on a coat of mayonnaise about 1/4" thick. Broil as far away from the heat as possible. When the mayonnaise starts getting dark brown, check to see if the fillets are done. If not, switch the oven to bake at 350 to finish cooking them. You don't want to burn the mayonnaise. Don't turn the fillets.
Yep, we bake it most of the time. It's our favorite way to cook it. :big_smile:
