    Welcome to the BOC Brandon!!!
Seems to me that with the right bait and technics that you will soon learn by reading posts and conversing with others on here, you most likely have found where they are, you just have to improve your approach!!!

PS. Avatars have to be a Pic of you with a fish not fish alone, LOL!!!

Try the River Raisin or the hot water discharge at Monroe off Lake Erie. I'm not from around there but we do real well at the HWD. Cut bait or shrimp on a slip sinker rig will probably get it done.

Hi and welcome aboard. I am new also. I have fished Belleville Lake in the past from a boat and got pretty decent results. No results from the shore. I found a tip from the Belleville Lake archive on this site. If I figure out how to pull it up again I'll post it.

Basically you can shore fish from Sandy's Marina. I am also looking into fishing on the Huron River. Catfishing on Lake Erie is good but last I checked the DNR warns against eating catfish from the Lake Eric watershed.

Let me know what you find out. I hope to get out this weekend.:cool2:
