Went out last night, and fished the lower part of the lake, from Clearwater Cove to the dam. Fished deep water, fished shallow water, and drifted deep and shallow. Used brim and shad. Our only take was four little small bullheads.

Not much to report. Sigh. (Lip poked out and all) Enjoyed being on the water, though. At least there's that.

GatorT-try white perch fillets really no drop off from striped bass fillet. Never messed with the garlic stuff, the fish's natural oils seem to do the job for me:big_smile:. Easier to catch and work just as well. White perch are rarely in short supply.
