Catfish I caught at Fairfield Lake

    Here is a pic of a catfish I caught out a Lake Fairfield the other night. I caught him off the bank on chicken liver, he was already hooked before I could even pick up the rod.

    Thanks for the compliment he wasnt to big or to small but he tasted just right. I was hoping to get lucky and catch one of those Nile Perch they stocked in the lake back in the 70s but I figure most of those are dead by now. Those things can get huge.

    I betcha he did taste gooood. Nice fish. You know fairfield does have a population of freshwater reds. Seen some pics elsewhere. I think they catch them off shad.

    It sure does we caught a few small ones nothing to brag about, but they fight hard.
