CatFish Doldrums

    It has been very slow. The only thing I have been pulling out with rod and reel is tiny little pan fry size.

    On a bright note my neigbor caught a monster yellow of a rattle trap while fishing for the white bass!

    HEY Pfunk . I'M A CATMAN NEIGHBOR ; MY SON LIVES THERE IN QWITMAN AND FISHES FORK ALLTHE TIME. I;VE FISHED IT 2 OR 3 TIMES; THE FISHING WAS BETTER WHEN WE TIED UP. WE CAUGHT SEVERAL IN THE 3 TO 6 PD RANGE BUT TRYING TO DRIFT WAS A NIGHTMARE - STUMPS AND BASS FISHERMAN GOING BY AT A 100 MILES AN HOUR. I MOSTLY FISH BOB SANDLIN 2 OR 3 TIMES A WEEK. I;VE GOT 4 BIG FISH 21 TO 65 PDS. WE ARE GOING TO GO TO FORK THIS SPRING TO GO AFTER CRAPPIE. WAS GLAD TO HEAR OF LOCAL CATTERS. GOOD LUCK TO ALL!!
