Glenn, a google search and found some trapping lures with the word castors used. But no catfish castors.

Beaver castors are located next to the anal opening.
Ain't seen anything like that in a catfish.

On the other hand I've spent many hours casting for catfish so does that make me a catfish caster?

    Happy new years

Everyone knows that catfish castors are those little dolly wheels that you put under catfish that are too big to carry. I don't leave home without 'em!

its a man or woman that sits up all night hurling globs of liver, foul smelling concoctions and fish into the murky depths in hopes of catching a catfish. The BOC is full of em!!

If I was to tell you what my friend said catfish castors are, this post would probably be removed. If someone is interested in what my friend told me they are, send me a PM. If I would get the go ahead from a moderator,I would tell all of you what I was told that they are.

Thanks to a clarification from Scott Daw,my friend was right, but he was calling them the wrong thing. The correct name for what he was talking about is gonads.
    Thanks Scott
