    hows it going all
recently weve found this nice spot on the patapsco river here in baltimore md. its about 2 miles from were it dumps into the chesapeake bay. anyway the spots been producing a ton of channel from the 2-15+ lb range. and even some blue and other fish. the spots is pretty shallow (3-5 ft), with some good holes (5-10 ft ), and good bank overhangs. usually around sunset (7:45 ish) till around 11 the fish are hitting like crazy. then from around 11-1am. nothing. then it picks up again. weve noticed the water seems to stop "moving" during this time. anyone have this occour on any of the rivers they fish. are the cats movin with the tides?

    Incoming tide and outgpoing tide.

Theyll be shallower at high tide and around ledges and holes an channels at low tide.

Tide does play a role, what ya really wanna look for is a front movin through, incoming or outgoing tide, and a fullk or new moon.

Get all 3 of them conditions going while yer on the water and be DAMN sure that drag is set right!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Have fun an good luck

    thanks for the advice.
im use to tidal waters, like the chesapeake bay and its larger tributaries, but this is really the first couple of weekends we fished this area of this river. its a smaller part of the entire river.
