Its high 30's low 40's right now where im at this saturday its supposed to be high 47 and raining which would raise the temperature of the water. Last year me and a buddy was fishing this small pond very early in the year and we did pretty good. Im gonna try the same pond again. Is there any cold water bluegill secrets, tips, or techniques, even setups or baits that I should use? And is it too early?

try fishing by weedlines, use small worms or wax worms. My dad went ice fishing in wisconsin last Januray, he fishing by weedlines, he caught about 30 panfish.
