Was thinking the other day about catching bait and started wondering if you could use yo yo' s to catch shad and or skip jack. Then the next question in my mind was what would you use for bait to do this with??

Would love to get as much input on this as possible.

    Thanx

Well that is quite a question? I am sure no one has ever considered it before. I'm guessing anything is possible with shad or the skippy if you are in a hot spot. Give it a try. Put a couple lead head jigs on each side of the YO YO and see what happens. Good luck getting the YO Yo out of the water!!:smile2:

Maybe walking the dog will draw them, please be sure to let us know if it works.

I have targeted goldeye (a breed of shad) set up for blue gill. Little hook, bobber, and worm. A yo-yo should work, but there is no telling what else you may catch.
