Catawba Chain lakes comin' up.....

    Cool, just saw a news report that said Lake James is up 6 feet since Christmas; still 8 feet below where it should be though. It was the hardest hit on the Catawba chain, because Duke was pulling water from there to supply the other lakes.     Yes Catgirl, the water is a rising!!

    Several ramps are now back open on Lake Wylie. Hopefully Duke will hold some of that water this winter instead of keeping the lakes low like they usually do.

    Hopefully enough will make it downstream to Santee-Cooper!!! :wink:

    Lake James is one of my favorate lakes. Too bad it has to supply all the water to the city people down stream...
