Just in case, ya'll haven't been watching / looking for catalpa worms around central Arkansas - they are starting to show up : at Lake Conway (Mayflower).

There are 19 trees in my area and last year - 6 of them had worms. So far this year I've been around to 11 trees and two of them had worms. They are not thick yet - but I got about a dozen full grown worms (so far :)

Lot of people love this bait.

Had a tree in my front yard at the last place I lived, would always get drive-by picking(s). :embarassed:

This is a great bait. If you have or know of someone who has these trees. Get permission to harvest them and guard the secret. When you pick them up, take some of the leaves and stack in the buckets. They will continue to feed on them.
