Cat fishing in south carolina

    Hi guys. I live in north carolina but my job brought me to savannah,ga for 6 weeks. I would like to get some catfishing done while I am here. Can anybody help me with places to go near savannah. I dont have a boat so will need to bank fish.

    I wish I could help, but I'm not familiar with that part of the state. I know there are plenty of cats in the Savannah, but don't know where to fish. Hopefully someone on here can help you, but the guys on the Georgia forum can probably point you there, too. I've hunted along the river on the SC side near Garnett and have always wished I could get down there for some fishing. Reminds me a lot of the lower Santee, where I fish.

    There is a nice spot in Hardeeville, SC just across the boarder. You would be fishing the Savannah River.
