Cast net tip!

    When you first buy a castnet,it will be "stiff",and will not open well,until broken in a little.To hasten this "breaking in period",soak your net in dish liquid soap and warm water........works like a charm. I Read this a long time ago in some magazine.

    That does work good, but I found that if you use fabric softener and warm water it does a better job. But they both work.

    Yeah good point, I agree I've used both and fabric softner does work better.

    Thanks for the tip, I have never tried anything to soften my nets.

    It diffently helps. It makes a big difference.
