Cast net lead

    Man, did not realize how many weights are on a cast net until I cut them off an old net today to reuse. Must of took me 15 minutes... 98 weights 1 or 2 oz each...got a good bit of lead. Think I'll just reuse to make some limb lines, putting 4 or 5 per line.

    I hear that man I love it when i find a old net someone left on the bank! I melt them and make new no roll weight with the molds I bought.

    It's hard to imagine any fisherman worth his salt would leave anything on the bank, let alone a net full of lead...:confused2:

    I pay my kids $5 per net to cut the lead weights off. It's money well spent and hard-earned... :big_smile:

    burning would be a whole lot faster. Just don't tell the kids that(you'll go broke)
