    Well the underdogs did it.They won the World Series. I'll be the first to admit I didn't think they stood a chance. Just goes to show never give up. Wianwright sure does know how to make it interesting just like Izzy. Congrads to the RED BIRDS.

    Go Cards! Not only were the Cards underdogs, but our World Series Heroes (Weaver, Suppan, Molina, Eckstein) were underdogs on their own team. What an upset!!!

    Dear Brothers and Sisters;
    "THANK YOU ALL" for the kind words about our St. Louis Cardinals!:big_smile:
    I really think that under different weather conditions and times that it could have easily went the other way or at least been a lot harder! Thankfully, nobody heard my thinking!!:lol:
    Just a few miles away from our "Cave" is St. Louis City, and we ARE having a "P-A-R-T-Y"!!:big_smile:
    Now, if the Ram's, Blue's, and a few others would just follow the "Cards's" example ...:roll_eyes:
    Doubtful, but at least we have one victory to celebrate this year!:smile2:
    Thanks Again All.
    Fraternally,

    An adopted Missourian and GLAD of it too! :big_smile:

    That was a great game. I thought there on the end they were going to let them come back and tie it or win it, but hey they are the champs.

    Oh boy!!! Now if the Cards had lost the World Series, you would be begging the Cub fans to share the kleenex.....:tounge_out:

    Yes we are all proud of the Red Birds and they played great ball and won. Has the MVP been picked yet? If so who won the yellow vet?

    Little D got the MVP. That guy is the new Charlie hustle!! He plays like Pete Rose, every inning, every play, every at bat. He deserved it by far.

    David Eckstien won MVP and the VET. Now he says it's not really his type of car so he's going to give it to his dad.Say's his dad was shopping for a new car anyway and he does like Vets so he's gonna get it.What a son to give up something like that.
