let's go Birds! Need Carp to come up with a stunner in Game 1 then just hit the crap out of the ball the rest of the way. Also, Wainright will need some good defense in order to save the day....

Yip yip yipee! Yep, called that one pretty good if I don't say so myself! What kills me is all the pundits and TV heads were givin up on the birds are now sayin, "oh this can be a huge turn around, the Cardinals may go all the way!" Talk about fickle. I do enjoy Chris Berman as one of the announcers, he is a riot.

DODGEMAN I HOPE YOU'RE WATCHIN YOU CRUSTY OL CUB FAN!!!!

    Dusty needs a job

Though I'm a dyed in the wool Astro's fan, the Cardinals are my team for the playoffs and series. Go Albert, go Edmonds. I want to seem them destroy the New York teams. Hate the Mets.

As they say, on any given day, the worst major league team can beat the best. I would not bet against a team with Pujols and Edmonds on it. As an Astro's fan, I'm glad they didn't make it last year, but with that crew, they would tear up both leagues this year. They've lost a step or two, but I'm not sure the other teams are much if any better this year. I mean, not one 20 game winner in the National League?
