:confused2: First thanks to Bob/Bubba with all the advice. The 70 Evinrude is back on the boat after the rebuild. And look ma..I did it all myself. minus-boring I got some good advice here. Still gotta hook things up and test it out.....Now I thought I marked the carbs when I pulled them off but some how I got two marked #3. I rebuilt the carbs and synchronized them per the manual. Is there any difference in the carbs or is all ok?

The only carb that matters is the one with the throttle linkage cam roller. It needs to be where it came off.

The reason for marking carbs, both body and bowl, is to put the carb bowl back on the body it came from. I'm told it could matter. Don't worry about it otherwise.
