Can't catch a blue catfish

    hmm theres blues all over the cumberland if Im not mistaken...

    stick with it, lots of members are fishing the Cumberland and having good results. caught my first 3 blues this year. Took over 43 years to get that first one.

    What methods do you use? What bait? Bank or boat? Where did you run off to? Find a dike fish the hole at the end down stream of it. No dike, fish the cut away banks on the outside of bends in the river where it's deep and the water is flowing good. I have no clue about the cumberland river, but it must be good as everyone is always talking about it.

    fish mainly with skipjack or treadfin shad deep holes we see wat we think are fish on the sonar but never any hits im fishing the area in wilson county and sumner county that the areas mainly im fishing
